Gene is a Principal and the Chief Operating Officer of Federal Street Partners, LLC.

Professional Experience: Prior to January 1, 2001, Gene served as a Director, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Northern Trust Global Advisors, Inc. and The Northern Trust Company of Connecticut. He was responsible for supervising the finance, accounting, fund operations, legal and compliance areas of this $15 billion “manager-of-managers” investment firm and its foreign subsidiaries. Prior to 1987, Gene served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Newsweek International and also served as a senior financial analyst on the finance staff of Ford Motor Company.

Education: MBA degree in Financial Control from Harvard Graduate Business School (1973), BS degree in Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point (1964).
