Brian is the Research Manager of Federal Street Partners, LLC.

Professional Experience: Prior to May 2007, Brian was a portfolio manager at Aetna Capital Management, a hedge fund of funds subsidiary of Aetna, Inc. He was a member of the four-person investment committee directing the construction and asset allocation of the firm's funds and his responsibilities included identification, evaluation, and ongoing risk management across multiple strategies. From 1998 to 2004, Brian was in charge of hedge fund and private equity portfolios from the A. Alfred Taubman family. Prior to 1998, Brian was the director of corporate finance for Taubman Centers, the regional shopping mall REIT. From 1989 to 1991, he pursued real estate development and construction management in Boston and the surrounding area.

Education: MBA degree from Columbia Business School (1993) and BSME degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1989).
